On the weekend of 5th to 7th of April 2024, MINOB will be present at the 9th National Meting for Climate Justice (ENJC) in Boticas, Portugal. During the event we will be showcasing an exhibition of case studies on mining sites in Portugal and Spain, with focus on the 'critical' metals of lithium and tungsten - designated essential for the energy transition by the European Commission.
About the ENJC:
'From understanding the intricate relationship between the climate and the ocean, to combating energy poverty, to the imperative to abandon once and for all the extractivist approach that is leading us to collapse, to the urgency of promoting sustainable and public mobility solutions in our communities, to the need to foster and empower informed public participation at all points of the discussion, all of these aspects will be imperative to shaping a fairer and more sustainable future.'
